The Fine Arts Program at Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester has been designed to be an outlet for our members to express their emotions through producing artwork. Programs in this area enable youth to develop their creativity through arts and crafts, painting, drawing, ceramics, jewelry making, origami and more.
Annually, we enter the Boys & Girls Club National Fine Arts Competition, along with many local art competitions within our community. We enable youth to connect with the art community through our collaborations with The Main Street Artists, Rochester Art Club and SUNY Empire State College. With these collaborations, we are allowed to hold many art exhibitions which create entrepreneurial opportunities for our young artists.
The Club also offers other opportunities in the arts such as making productions in our recording studio, singing in the choir, and gaining confidence in performing arts.
